My name is Alexander, I am from Russia. I live in a small town in Vladimir region. Its name is Alexandrov. I was born in it. Alexandrov is my native town and now my family and I live here.

My town is not very big, but it is very nice. It stands on the river Seraya, surrounded by forests, fields and small villages. In the forest you can see a lot of animals and birds such as hares, foxes, wolves, and wild pigs. In autumn our forests are rich in mushrooms, nuts, and berries. There are no high mountains near my town, but there are some hills and lakes around it. The vegetation of my town is rich. There are many ditterent trees, flowers and bushes here. My town is raether beautiful in summer, because it is very green.

Alexandrov is famous for its history. Once our small Alexandrov played the role of the capital of Russia. It was during the reign of the tsar Ivan the Terrible. Now we can see the Kremlin where the tsar lived. It is a famous museum. There are many monuments and other museums in my town. Many tourists visit Alexandrov every year. I think they like it. I am happy to live here.

Some years ago Alexandrov was an industrial center which produced TV-sets and artificial stones. Now we don't have much industry. There are many shops, two cinemas,two picture galleries and a theatre in it. People of my town are very friendly and kind.
