Dear Santa Claus,
I congratulate you on coming New Year! I've never written to you before, but it was not because I don’t believe in miracles. Our lives would seem boring and dull without miracles.
How do you live, Santa? How is your health? Please, take care of yourself. You have a difficult task to make people happy.  How do you cope with it? Every kid in the world wants to get a gift on New Year’s Day. Some children want toy - cars, others want beautiful dolls. Teenagers require mobile phones or laptops. How do you remember everything?
By the way, do you bring presents to grown ups? You know, I’d like to ask you for some gifts for them. All adults need health and happiness. Santa, please, bring them these gifts. I ask you for it, because adults do not believe that you are real and do not write letters to you, but I’m sure they need all these things very much.
I’d like to ask you for a small souvenir for myself. It can be a soft toy or even a candy. I want to have the proof that I am right, and you really exist.

I am a pupil of the fourth form. I am ten now.  Some days ago I began to write you a letter about a New Year present for me, but yesterday I met a girl…  I went for a walk in the yard and saw a little girl there. She was so sad! At first she didn`t want to talk to me, but then she told me that she came here with her old grandmother. Her mother and father went to the North to work there. She has not already seen them for a year and that`s why she is so sad now.  I have already asked my mother and father to give me some money. I want to buy Sveta ( it is the name of the girl) a beautiful doll. I will give it to her as a New Year present from me.  Dear Santa! You are so strong, kind and magic! Please, tell her parents that their little daughter is very sad. Please, ask them to spend this New Year`s holidays here with their daughter.
